ABOUT JESSICA PARDO
Attorney. Mediator. Marriage and Family Therapist
You deserve an advocate who will listen carefully, speak honestly, and help you make thoughtful decisions that protect not only your rights, but your relationships, your family, and your future.
Whether I'm serving as your attorney, mediator, or therapist, my goal is the same: to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and a plan rooted in what matters most.
That is the foundation of my practice.
Helping You Navigate Life's Most Significant Transitions with Clarity, Strategy, and Compassion.
If you're here, chances are life isn't unfolding the way you hoped. You may be considering divorce. You may be worried about your children, struggling in your marriage, or facing a family conflict that feels bigger than you ever imagined. Perhaps you're looking for legal guidance. Perhaps you're seeking support to strengthen a relationship or better understand yourself. Or maybe you simply need someone to help you make sense of what comes next.. Whatever brought you here, you deserve more than legal documents, court dates, or quick answers.
Why This Work Matters.
I didn't become a family law attorney because I enjoy conflict. I became one because I understand what conflict is and what it can cost.
As a child, I experienced divorce firsthand and saw how deeply family conflict affects everyone involved—especially the children who often have the least control over what happens next. That experience shaped my perspective.
It taught me that behind every petition, every parenting schedule, and every courtroom hearing are real people trying to build a better future. It's why I believe your case is about more than reaching the finish line. It's about protecting what comes after.
Why Law...and Therapy?
Early in my legal career, I represented families through some of the most emotionally difficult seasons of their lives. I saw parents spend years in litigation. I saw families drain their financial resources fighting over issues that often left everyone feeling exhausted and no long-term resolutions.
And I realized something that changed the direction of my career:
The law can end a marriage and divide a family, but it cannot teach people how to communicate, rebuild trust, or create healthier relationships moving forward.
That realization led me back to school to earn a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I wanted to understand not only the legal system—but the people living and participating within it.
Today, my background in both law and therapy allows me to approach family conflict with a broader perspective while maintaining the distinct ethical responsibilities of each profession.
My Philosophy
Rooted in Family. Guided by Justice.
Every family is different, but my approach is consistent.
I believe honesty builds trust, transparency empowers good decisions, and children should never become collateral damage in adult conflict. I believe mediation should be pursued when it serves a family's future and litigation should be pursued when it is necessary to protect that future.
Most importantly, I believe the choices you make today will shape your family's tomorrow. My responsibility is to help you understand your options, navigate uncertainty with confidence, and make decisions you'll be proud of long after your case is over.
An Intentional Approach
I built Pardo Legal Services with a simple philosophy: every client deserves thoughtful guidance, honest communication, and an attorney who is genuinely invested in helping them move forward. By intentionally maintaining a boutique practice, I'm able to devote the time and attention each matter deserves. That means taking the time to understand your goals, answer your questions, explain your options, and develop a strategy tailored to your family's unique circumstances.
When you hire me, you're not just retaining an attorney. You're placing your trust in someone during one of the most important transitions of your life, and I don't take that responsibility lightly.
Transparent Communication & Purposeful Billing
One of the most common frustrations I hear from prospective clients isn't simply the cost of legal representation—it's feeling like they have no idea what's happening in their own case. Too many people come to me after spending thousands of dollars without understanding where their matter stands, why certain strategies were pursued, or when they might finally see a resolution.
I believe you deserve better.
You should understand where your case stands, why I'm recommending a particular course of action, and how each step moves you closer to your goals. Communication shouldn't create anxiety—it should create clarity.
That's why every recommendation I make has a purpose. Whether the best solution is a conversation, mediation, negotiation, or litigation, the strategy should always serve your interests—not simply generate more work.
Every recommendation should move your matter forward—not simply move the clock.

Beyond the Office
While my work is a significant part of who I am, I believe it's important to make time for the people and experiences that keep me grounded.
Outside the office, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and our two dogs, exploring local farmers markets and the downtown shops throughout the Tri-Cities, discovering a great film, or getting lost in a good book. My bookshelf is an eclectic mix of fantasy and dystopian fiction alongside psychology, family systems, and personal development—a reflection of both my curiosity and my love of learning.
I've always been fascinated by people and the stories they carry. Whether I'm reading, writing, or creating educational resources, I'm continually looking for ways to better understand the patterns that shape relationships, families, and the choices we make. That curiosity doesn't end when the workday does—it's part of who I am.
At the heart of it all is a simple belief: informed people make better decisions. That's why I continue to write, teach, and share practical resources—to help individuals and families feel more informed, less overwhelmed, and better equipped for whatever comes next.
Let's Begin with a Conversation
No two families—and no two situations—are exactly alike.
Whether you're looking for legal representation, mediation, therapeutic support, or simply a better understanding of your options, the first step is a conversation. My commitment is to listen without judgment, provide honest guidance, and help you understand the path forward so you can make decisions with confidence.
If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honored to help.
